Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including data encryption, identity, and access management.
- Optimize resource allocation and cost-efficiency within cloud environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Kibana and Logstash to maintain infrastructure reliability.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud engineering.
- Networking for cloud and on-premises environments.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies to enforce secure access controls.
- Container management using tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Understanding and applying symmetric and asymmetric encryption techniques to protect sensitive information.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in applying necessary patches or updates.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement secure cloud and infrastructure solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and security-related issues.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and best practices in cloud infrastructure and security.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, preferably in a fintech or technology-driven environment.
- Understanding in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with network security concepts, DNS management, IAM configurations, and encryption methods.
- Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, or GDPR compliance).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
