Responsibilities
- Maintain computer networks including switches, VPNs, routers, servers, and physical hardware.
- Install and configure network devices and related equipment.
- Monitor network performance to ensure stability across all systems.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate network issues with employees and management.
- Implement network disaster recovery procedures.
- Stay updated on networking and security best practices to ensure optimal protection for company systems.
- Execute basic security operations on firewalls and VPNs.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar.
- Hands-on experience with servers is a must.
- Strong knowledge of networking systems: LAN, routers, switches, firewalls.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and general network services.
- Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and security infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of configuring security devices (firewalls, VPN)
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and troubleshoot network performance.
Nice to have
- CCNA or equivalent certifications are preferred.
