Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent
- work experience).
- ▪ 1 - 2 years of experience in installation, configuration, and technical support for firewall
- solutions, with demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex
- network environments.
- ▪ Proficiency in networking technologies and protocols, including routing, switching, TCP/IP,
- VLANs, and VPNs.
- ▪ Hands-on experience with network security measures, including Fortinet / Palo Alto firewalls.
- ▪ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate
- effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- ▪ Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and other OT technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assess, implement, and maintain converged network infrastructure to facilitate seamless
- communication and integration between Operational Technology (OT) and Information
- Technology (IT) systems.
- ▪ Monitor network performance and security, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to
- ensure the reliability and integrity of converged OT-IT networks.
- ▪ Manage network device configurations, security measures, and documentation to maintain
- compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- ▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including OT and IT personnel, cybersecurity experts,
- and industrial engineers, to align network strategies with business objectives and security
- priorities.
- ▪ Participate in incident response activities, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to
- enhance the resilience and responsiveness of converged OT-IT environments.
- ▪ Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to OTIT
- convergence, and share knowledge with colleagues through training and knowledge sharing
- initiatives.
- ▪ Engage with network equipment vendors and service providers to procure hardware,
- software, and services that support the requirements of converged OT-IT environments.
- ▪ Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
