Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Experience: 1–2 years in cable installation or a related fields
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in installing and terminating coaxial, fiber optic, and Ethernet cables.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications systems and equipment.
- Skilled in signal testing and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and work orders.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and cable-specific tools (e.g., testers, crimpers).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems for residential and commercial clients.
- Terminate and configure coaxial, fiber optic, and Ethernet cables in accordance with industry standards.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot telecommunications equipment, including modems, routers, and cable boxes.
- Inspect and diagnose cable systems to resolve issues such as weak signals or connectivity problems.
- Test and verify system performance, including signal strength and data transmission rates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks to maximize system longevity and reliability.
